Postcard of Church Road c.1917 (another similar postcard has been seen sent in 1911 from Uncle Joe to 'Little Alex' Hall living with a relation (?) at 53 Welbeck Street). Also another postcard from 1935.
The terrace of cottages was built in the late 1840s on a plot which had been auctioned in 1846.
