Talks by Charles Brock, URC Minister

Archive Notes:

Charles was minister at Wheatley United Reformed Church for 35 years in addition to being Chaplin and director of ordination training at Mansfield College. He played an active role in Wheatley having been a founder member of the Wheatley Society, active in establishing the Wheatley Area Churches and with Rev John Fuller forming an ecumenical partnership with St Mary’s Church. He could often be found in the White Hart (now Cinnamons) debating politics, philosophy and theology.

Charles died at his home town of Erie Pennsylvania at the end of last year. Thanks to a large legacy from his mother’s estate he was a  major benefactor both to Mansfield College and Penn State University.
