Archive Notes:
1928 Photo shows single-span lattice bridge across single-carriageway Oxford-London Road at Wheatley, replacing the original stone arch on the right. This arch was subsequently buried in the embankment and only came to light when the second lattice span was installed in 1961.
March 1967 photo of the track, after Beeching had closed the line, hence the rails are now very rusty.
